Terms of Service

Definitions

1. "App" refers to the Stoic Advisor application developed by Altered AI Apps llc.

2. "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the App.

3. "Content" refers to any text, graphics, images, audio, video, or other materials appearing on or generated by the App.

4. "Intellectual Property" refers to all proprietary rights, including but not limited to patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, in and to the App, its design, and all Content available on or through the App.

User Accounts

1. Users can create an account on the App by providing a valid email address and password.

2. Users may also be required to provide additional information as necessary to verify their identity, such as name and payment information.

3. Users can terminate their account at any time by submitting a request through the App's settings or by contacting Altered AI Apps llc customer support.

User Conduct

1. Users must use the App for lawful purposes only and may not use the App to engage in any illegal or fraudulent activities.

2. Users may not use prompts designed to bypass the intended use of the language model.

3. Users may not post or transmit any Content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

4. Users may not use the App to send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material, including but not limited to spam, junk mail, or chain letters.

5. Users may not attempt to interfere with the operation of the App or its associated systems, or with the use of the App by other users.

Acknowledgement

1. this agreement is concluded between the User and Altered AI Apps llc and not with any third-party platform provider. Altered AI Apps llc is solely responsible for the App and its Content.

License Scope

1. The license granted to the User for the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any compatible device owned or controlled by the User. The User may not transfer the license to any other party.
 

Maintenance and Support

1. Altered AI Apps llc is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App. The User acknowledges that the third-party platform provider has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.

2. The stability and performance of the App are dependent on third-party dependencies. Altered AI Apps LLC cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation due to factors beyond its control, such as internet connectivity and hosting providers. Efforts will be made to address any issues within its control and collaborate with third-party providers for resolution.

Intellectual Property

1. All Intellectual Property associated with the App, including trademarks, logos, and copyrighted materials, is the property of Altered AI Apps llc or its respective owners.

2. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App and its Content for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or create derivative works of any Content appearing on the App without the prior written consent of Altered AI Apps llc or its respective owners.

4. Users may not use any trademark, logo, or copyrighted material associated with the App without the prior written consent of Altered AI Apps llc or its respective owners.

5. The User acknowledges that Altered AI Apps llc is solely responsible for any claims of intellectual property infringement related to the App or its Content. The User agrees to cooperate with Altered AI Apps llc in the investigation and defense of any such claims.

Limitation of Liability

1. The use of the App is at the User's own risk. Altered AI Apps llc shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the User's access or use of the App.

2. Altered AI Apps llc shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in the Content or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the App or any Content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the App.

3. Stoic Advisor is an entertainment app, and as such is not a replacement or substitute for professional counseling or Therapy.

Warranty

1. Altered AI Apps llc provides no warranty or guarantee regarding the accuracy, reliability, or performance of the App. The User acknowledges that any reliance on the App or its Content is at their own risk.

Dispute Resolution

1. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or the use of the App shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

2. If arbitration is not possible or permissible, the parties may bring a lawsuit in court, and the laws of The State of Utah shall govern any such dispute.

3. The User acknowledges that any claims relating to the App, including but not limited to product liability claims, must be addressed directly to Altered AI Apps llc and not to the third-party platform provider.

4. Altered Ai Apps llc is solely responsible for addressing any claims of the End-User or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or the end- user’s possession and/or use of that Licensed Application,

5. Altered AI Apps llc is the developer of the App. For any questions, complaints, or claims related to the App, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation, please contact Altered AI Apps llc at alteredaiapps.stoicadvisor@gmail.com.

Modification of Terms

1. Altered AI Apps llc reserves the right to modify, add, or remove any part of these Terms of Service at any time without notice.

2. Any changes to these Terms of Service will be effective immediately upon posting, and the User's continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Termination

1. Altered AI Apps llc may terminate a User's account and access to the App at any time and for any reason.

2. In the event of termination, the User's account will be deactivated, and the User will not be able to access the App or any Content associated with their account.

Privacy

1. Altered AI Apps llc is committed to protecting the privacy of its Users and complying with all applicable data privacy laws.

2. Altered AI Apps llc will collect and use personal data only for the purposes set forth in its privacy policy, which is available on the App and incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service.

3. Altered AI Apps llc will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect User data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

4. Altered AI Apps llc may disclose User data if required to do so by law or in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process.

Legal Compliance

1. The User represents and warrants that they are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist-supporting" country. The User further represents and warrants that they are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
 

Third-Party Terms
1. The User must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App, including but not limited to the terms and conditions set forth by the third-party platform provider.

By accessing or using the Stoic Advisor application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.
